Bhutan has 20 separate regions known as Dzongkhags (Districts). Each of these dzongkhags is further divided into smaller regions called Gewogs (Blocks). The gewogs consist of villages, towns and cities. Although Bhutan allows tourists to visit all the regions within the country, some of the districts are not suitably developed to be considered as a tourist spot. However, brief information on all the places are provided below.
